You can’t fix something until you admit there is a problem.
Often we hear parents cite stats that FTS is the top school in the county and receives amazing ratings!
It even says on State reports that, “Out of the 35 K-8 schools in the NHV sending district, Franklin Township School proudly stands as the leader.” This is listed under the “School Highlights Reported by The District” sections of the New Jersey State Performance Report for Franklin Township School/District.
That’s a massively impressive claim, so we decided to put the numbers to the test.
Every year New Jersey State releases NJ School Performance Reports. They rate schools in four main categories:
- MATH GROWTH
- ELA GROWTH
- MATH ASSESSMENT
- ELA ASSESSMENT.
We gathered all of the April 2024 NJ Performance Reports for every elementary school in Hunterdon County and used the data to rank them from leader to last place in all four categories and combined averages.
We’re not going to add any commentary to the numbers until a later posts and videos; rather we’ll just share these rankings based on facts and let you decide who is the leader & who is within fractional percentages from failing state standards.
